FIRST MEN IN THE MOON is in Good-/Good+ condition, as the
spine has an approximately 2" V-shaped tear at the top which does
not affect the integrity of the block, as the tear is to the surface
of the cloth cover only. Small chips and scuffs are seen at the base of spine
with some scuffs along the cover's edges. A few pages
are starting from the binding but are not loose. A few pages have slight curling on their edges
only, not affecting text pages or illustrations. There is a minor
discoloration to the rear cover. The interior text and
illustrations are in Fine condition and clearly legible.
This signed H. G. Wells was
acquired by the Seller in 1980 as part of
the purchase of an antique home in which the library was included.
